Ten Years of Friendship

We were both unaware that we have been friends for 10 years now. I think God really made a way for the two of us to have a 4-day vacation in Boracay Island last October. It was the first time that we went on vacation together, and its certainly not the last, of course!

I am sharing the photos we took from that trip.

Until the next adventure! :)

Our first night in the island, we were approached by a man who gave us an "exclusive" invite to a dinner party for their "new" resort in Boracay. Turns out, they just wanted to sell a very expensive resort club membership. We spent about 3 hours listening to the presenter (they won't stop until we say Yes. Its annoying- the deal is great, but we're just not interested). READ: NOT HAPPY after this meal.

After that excruciating 3-hour experience, we of course promised ourselves that WE WILL NEVER attend another "presentation" lol! We relaxed in one of the bars fronting the beach. We loved the bean bags!

The next day, we decided not to waste time and explore the island. Though we have been there several times, there's always something about the place that makes us want to go back.

One great restaurant we can recommend is Paradiso Grill. A beach-front restaurant in Station 2. The price is reasonable.

Do we know how to do this? lol!

Red Coco Bar in Boracay is famour for the "Brain Train". We did not try the drink, for the record, but thanks to this bar, I have a new favorite drink- Tanduay Ice (White).

I like it because it tastes good. I am not a heavy beer drinker. In fact, I rarely drink nowadays, so Tanduay Ice really helped me keep up with the drinking in Bora.

So, this is us having fun at the bar. The music here is awesome!

Frolicking in the beach..

One big challenge we had was that we did not have anyone with us who can take our photos!

But I have to say that the island is so beautiful in every angle, you don't have to be a pro photographer to capture beautiful pictures.

Jonah's Fruit shake (Station 1) is UHHHMAZING! Its a must try!

In Bora, you will never run of place to dine! This was in Mesa. We were their first customer for that day!

Paraw Sailing was indeed very relaxing. Better if you have the boat exclusive to your group.

We were waiting for this..

Another MUST TRY:

Calamansi Muffin of Real Tea and Coffee Cafe at Station 1

Our last night Bora.. Dinner at Don Vito Ristorante Italiano.

There are about a thousand photos we took, but I guess its still not enough to describe the feeling of being able to travel and celebrate such friendship. Next year, we will take the kids with us!
